UrbanGold Minerals Inc. ("UrbanGold" or the "Company” | TSXV: UGM) is pleased to announce that it has commenced field operations on its 100% owned StarGold property in Quebec (the "Property") where a large angular boulder which reportedly analyzed 279 g/t gold along with variable amounts of silver, copper and zinc in grab samples (See February 21, 2019 UrbanGold press release).
The field crew has arrived on the property to conduct surface exploration over the entire property, initially focusing on the strongest electromagnetic anomalies identified by the recently completed helicopter-borne survey. The use of ground instruments designed to detect sub-cropping Magnetic and Conductive bedrock and boulders will greatly facilitate exploration.
All conductive targets are efficiently accessible by road or waterways. The prospecting, trenching and sampling program is to be followed-up by drilling positive results.

The 6,318-hectare Property is located 200 kilometres northeast of the town of Val-d’Or, a gold mining hub and 68 kilometres south of the Windfall gold deposits. The Property is easily accessible by a network of forestry roads and accommodation is available on the property.

The Property acquisition is pending TSX Venture Exchange Inc. approval and it is to be noted that grab samples are selective in nature and are not necessarily representative of the mineralization hosted on the Property.
